Stephanie Grandbois, MSBTM, MBA, is a seasoned life sciences leader and currently serves as the NA Head of Strategic Programs and Sponsorships at MilliporeSigma. With over a decade of progressive experience spanning business development, strategic partnerships, and biotechnology management, she has built a reputation for driving growth and fostering collaboration across diverse scientific ecosystems.

Stephanie began her career in process development at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where she gained hands-on expertise in biotechnology and research operations. She later transitioned into the commercial side of the industry, holding sales and account management roles at VWR, part of Avantor, before joining Sigma-Aldrich and MilliporeSigma. Over the years, she has advanced into leadership roles that merge her scientific background with her business acumen, enabling her to lead large-scale strategic programs, partnerships, and sponsorship initiatives that strengthen innovation pipelines in the life sciences sector.

Academically, Stephanie holds both a Master of Science in Biotechnology Management (MSBTM) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland Global Campus. This dual foundation of science and business uniquely positions her to bridge technical expertise with organizational strategy.

The best career advice I ever received was that I can achieve greatness while also having a family and thriving as a successful woman in the corporate world. That message has guided me throughout my journey.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The advice I give to young women entering this industry is simple but powerful: you are capable of achieving any goal you set your mind to. Believe in yourself and never underestimate your potential.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the challenges in this industry is the constant drive to always be the best in everything you do. While it can be demanding, it also pushes me to keep learning, growing, and refining my skills.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value the importance of work-life balance, especially as a mom of two young children, ages 5 and 9. Being a full-time working mom means I strive to succeed both at work and at home, and I take pride in knowing that I can be present and dedicated in both roles.
