Stephanie began her career in media buying at IPG, managing multi-million-dollar investments for global brands such as Johnson & Johnson, Hyundai, and Kia. Her curiosity about the business rationale behind media investments led her to pivot into partnerships and integrated marketing, including a tenure at Tennis Channel where she developed global campaigns spanning major tournaments, including all four Grand Slams. Throughout her career, she has focused on creating authentic storytelling partnerships that connect brands with audiences while driving measurable business outcomes.

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to building trust and strong relationships, being genuinely curious about why brands invest the way they do, and maintaining a results-driven focus on measurable business outcomes. Sustained networking, mentorship, and a commitment to understanding the business behind the work have also been critical factors in my growth.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is that your first job may not be your dream job, but it opens doors. Starting on the media or agency side provides exposure to the business, allows you to network, and helps you use each role to build future opportunities.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women to focus on building leverage, not just a resume. Understand the business impact of your work, know your revenue and performance metrics, and clearly articulate how your contributions drive results. Don’t wait until you feel 100% ready—growth happens when you stretch into new opportunities, so step in and start learning along the way.

The biggest challenges currently include post-pandemic work-life balance pressures, such as long commutes, and limited internal mobility within some large organizations. The opportunities lie in shaping integrated partnerships and storytelling across linear, streaming, and digital platforms to create authentic brand connections and drive revenue growth.
