She entered the insurance field in 2004 after a period as a stay-at-home mom, starting part-time as a receptionist before advancing to selling insurance. She is a licensed insurance agent specializing in commercial insurance for property and casualty, managing a book of accounts worth approximately $3 million and handling 400-500 policies. Her background includes a high school diploma earned at the top of her class and vocational training in the travel industry. She holds a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) credential and emphasizes ongoing education. Ingalls attributes her success to perseverance during challenging times, including nearly losing her home, and values hard work, continuous learning, and openness to new ideas. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, sewing, quilting, and volunteering through her church and for single parents.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I feel like there was a point in my career when I needed to get my license and get a new job, and I was at the point where I almost lost my house, like at the bottom of losing everything, and I felt like I couldn't do it, but I still forged ahead, and somehow I was able to do it. I just think you have to just really dig deep within yourself and have courage.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I think that you need to pick something that obviously you can make good money at, and then just dig in and try and get as much education and help as you can. Work hard and not give up. Be open to people's new ideas. Be willing to learn from other people.
