Her Interview

Ten minutes with Stephanie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I am a Christian, a strong believer of God, I have faith, and I believe that my personality, helping other people, make me to be successful, because there's a saying that we are successful by helping other people, so I'm being successful just, like, educating family, how to protect their family, and also replace income, and educating on a lot of things, so it makes me feel successful, the fact that I'm sharing knowledge with other people.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Just keep pushing, no matter how disappointed you will be, because the closest, family or friend will view you see any value in you until you are out there, so just keep pushing, even if you fall, it doesn't matter how many times you fall, just keep up, keep going, and believe in God, and just continue to pray, and just keep moving. Don't give up. Don't quit.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

We women, people kind of look down on us, like, we have no limitation, we just need to get out of our comfort zone. And just work hard, like, not work hard physically, but work smart, and just keep pushing, and make sure that you love everyone, that you come across, just show respect, let's support each other, and motivate each other, because if you share your story, your story can be an inspiration for other people who are struggling... We need empowerment, and see how best we can see women to the top.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The bigger challenge is to talk to people when it comes to retirement planning and other financial education. So sometimes, like, in our community, it's very difficult for people to kind of give you attention. They have to go to work, they have to be on clock. So it's kind of challenging to be able to really get to people that you really want to get to.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Value human relationship, passion, and just honestly other and helping people out.
