What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my hard work and dedication in this field. Every day, I focus on strategic analysis and compliance for background screening programs, ensuring they are accurate, efficient, and effective. I take pride in helping organizations streamline their hiring processes while protecting them from potential risks.
I also credit my education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I earned a degree in psychology, as a major factor in my professional growth. Studying psychology gave me a deeper understanding of people, which allows me to lead teams effectively, collaborate across departments, and help others grow and flourish in their careers.
Ultimately, my success comes from combining a strong foundation of knowledge with a commitment to continuous learning, problem-solving, and client-focused solutions. I strive every day to make a meaningful impact on the organizations and people I work with.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can build a successful career while also using your talents to effectively lead, mentor, and teach others on your team.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is that you can and will succeed in any field as long as you stay dedicated, work hard, and never give up.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The past two and a half years has been an adventure of merging two companies together after an acquisition. I feel very personally proud of how I've handled that. I was the individual selected to be in charge of being the guinea pig, so to say, on learning the new platforms and systems and products that our new parent company has to offer from scratch with really not a whole lot of guidance. I had to learn and then be able to teach others on my team, all while managing two of our biggest accounts in our tech space. For me, that personally felt like a great achievement to have that I had the trust of my direct leader to not only take on the responsibility of these two top clients, but to then also be the one to learn and figure out and teach others on my team.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Being able to work hard in the field and pivot as she started out in professional sports in sales and account management, and now is superseding her position now and has only been in this role for 2.5 years. She loves to read and is now in book clubs and crocheting and still enjoys going to sporting events and loves to volunteer at her local animal shelter and adopted her dog from there as well
