Her Story

About Stephanie

Stephanie Martino is a Christian Mindset Coach who helps women stop living by expectations and start living with intention, rooted in who God created them to be. After spending 27 years in corporate roles, she stepped away in 2020 to pursue the work she believes God was calling her to do. Stephanie is the author of Release & Receive, a guided journal designed to help women let go of the pressures weighing them down and embrace the life God has for them. Known for her authenticity, curiosity, and down-to-earth approach, Stephanie combines practical coaching with personal stories, humor, and faith to help women uncover the beliefs that have been shaping their lives. She believes meaningful transformation doesn't come from trying harder - it begins with greater self-awareness and a willingness to respond differently. Her goal is to create a space where women feel seen, challenged, encouraged, and equipped to become the women God created them to be.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Stephanie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I'd probably say two things. First, my faith. I really believe God led me to this work, and I give Him the credit for opening the doors and guiding me along the way. And second, I don't think any part of my story has been wasted. Some of the hardest things I've gone through are the very things I now get to use to encourage and coach other women. Looking back, I can see how God was preparing me long before I ever realized it.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Probably the best career advice I ever received was, "It's just a J-O-B." Someone told me that early in my corporate career, and I've never forgotten it. It's so easy to let your title or position become your identity, but they reminded me that my job is what I do, not who I am. That perspective helped me maintain healthier boundaries and kept me from getting consumed by my career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage them to take ownership of their lives. It's so easy to get caught up in other people's expectations, trying to make everyone happy, or living by all the things you think you "should" do. But when you start making intentional decisions that align with your values and who God created you to be, you build confidence because you're no longer relying on someone else's approval.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

AI is affecting people's ability to trust what they see. It's easier than ever to create content that looks professional, so people are wondering, "Who can I actually trust?" That means authenticity matters more than ever. I share a lot of my own stories, lessons, and even the mistakes I've made because I want people to get to know the real me. I want them to see that I'm not just teaching concepts - I’m sharing what I've actually lived.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My top values are faith, integrity, and openness. They are the guiding principles for how I make decisions and how I try to show up, both personally and professionally. Values are actually something I coach on. A lot of people have never really thought about what their values are. And when you don't have that defined at your core, it's really easy to let other people, your circumstances, or even pressure make your decisions for you.
