Stephanie Pelan

Stephanie Pelan is an experienced healthcare executive and surgical services leader with 16 years in nursing. Currently serving as Director of Surgical Services, she provides oversight across five departments: pre-op, intra-op, post-op, and sterile processing. The majority of her career has been spent in perioperative nursing and healthcare leadership. She previously worked as an RN in the operating room, circulating and scrubbing surgical procedures, for about six years before moving into leadership roles six years ago. Her expertise includes operational leadership, quality improvement, financial management, regulatory compliance, workforce development, change management, and patient safety. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, earned in 2010. She is actively involved in professional organizations including the Nebraska Nurse Association, where she chaired the Nursing Professional Development Committee for two years, the Nebraska Organization for Nurse Leaders, where she served as treasurer for two years, and AORN.
