Her Story
About Stephanie
Stephanie Pilecki is the Founder of The Offer Club, a San Diego-based recruiting firm focused on helping small and mid-sized businesses attract mission-driven talent aligned with their long-term goals and organizational values. With nearly a decade of experience in the recruiting industry, Stephanie specializes in strategic talent acquisition, technical recruiting, executive search, and full-cycle recruitment solutions. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she developed a deep understanding of organizational communication, interpersonal relations, and group dynamics. Before launching The Offer Club, Stephanie led national talent acquisition for a private equity-backed healthcare technology company, where she played a pivotal role scaling the organization from approximately 300 employees to more than 1,000 employees in less than four years. During this period of rapid growth, she partnered with executive leadership to develop hiring strategies, build high-performing teams, create new roles, support acquisition integrations, and expand bi-coastal business operations. Her earlier experience with workforce solutions supporting global enterprise brands further strengthened her ability to connect organizations with exceptional talent across a variety of industries while developing long-term partnerships. Stephanie approaches recruiting with a relationship-driven philosophy, taking time to understand clients' business goals, requirements, and culture as well as candidates’ motivations, values, and career aspirations to align businesses with individuals who drive meaningful impact. She attributes her success to focusing on long-term outcomes, strategic problem-solving, and transparent communication, even when it means advising a party to decline a quick win that doesn't serve their long-term goals. Guided by integrity, authenticity, and dependability, Stephanie is committed to creating connections that drive mutually beneficial and measurable outcomes. She encourages women entering the recruiting industry to remain true to themselves, prioritize strategic granularity, and recognize that lasting success comes from starting with genuine human connection.

Ten minutes with Stephanie
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my decade of success to balancing genuine human connection with strategic, long-term business outcomes. By taking the time to understand clients' and candidates' goals, values, and missions, in addition to aligning hard and soft skill requirements, I have gained trusted advisory relationships within my network that have led to leadership teams and candidates returning to me for advice and guidance years after our initial partnership. I find fulfillment in helping organizations and professionals meet and exceed their long-term objectives through human relationships that benefit individuals, businesses, and my community.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received came from a former CEO and mentor who encouraged me to say yes to conversations any time I had the bandwidth to do so. Whether someone is presenting an opportunity, product, or service, every conversation is a chance to learn something new and build a new connection, both of which are incalculably valuable. This mindset has helped me exponentially grow my network, build deep, cross-functional knowledge, and sharpen my communication skills while recognizing the value in every professional interaction.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
For women entering the recruiting industry, my advice is to stay authentic, remain genuinely curious, seek synergistic solutions, and trust their inner voice. Lasting success comes from effectively navigating complex business and interpersonal dynamics, establishing trust on both sides of the interview table, and always operating from a place of integrity. Leading with these principles creates lasting, meaningful impact on every person and business you touch that naturally compounds into career success.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges facing the recruiting industry today is the uncertainty in the job market. Hiring freezes and evolving economic conditions have led many qualified professionals to temporarily step back until more opportunities open up, making it increasingly difficult for organizations, especially small businesses, to identify and attract top talent. I see my role as helping candidates and companies navigate past this market fatigue by connecting exceptional talent with mission-driven organizations building something that truly matters. By pairing the right candidates with the right businesses, I find immense fulfillment in empowering career growth, enabling companies to fulfill their missions, and helping my local community thrive.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is the core value that guides both my personal and professional life. For me, integrity begins within: by being relentlessly honest, ethical, and consistent with my actions, values, and principles, even when no one is watching. Only when you operate from internal integrity can you truly practice it externally, showing up every day as the most authentic, honest, and dependable partner you can be in both life and work.
