Her Interview

Ten minutes with Stephanie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my mother, my faith in God, and my determination to overcome challenges. Through difficult times, including illness and major setbacks, I learned resilience and perseverance. Finding my passion for teaching Korean online and technology helped me discover my purpose, and I continue to work toward building my own company with dedication, responsibility, and a strong vision for the future.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to take things one step at a time. Big goals can feel overwhelming, but progress comes from focusing on each small step along the way. Just like you can’t eat an elephant all at once, you have to take it one bite at a time. Consistency, patience, and steady effort are what ultimately lead to success.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to find what motivates them and create a clear vision for their future. Set goals, break them into smaller steps, and hold yourself accountable along the way. Treat yourself like the CEO of your own career by reflecting on your progress, learning from challenges, and staying committed to the plan you create.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is burnout. Many professionals are working long hours, often 10 or more hours a day, which can impact motivation, productivity, and overall well-being. Finding ways to maintain balance and stay motivated while continuing to grow is an important focus moving forward.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are integrity and strong work ethic. I believe in taking responsibility for my actions, reflecting on challenges, and looking for ways to improve rather than placing blame on others. I also believe success requires dedication and consistent effort. Even when things are challenging, I stay committed, organized, and focused on doing my best.
