01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
When I get off work, I have to close all my devices because I'm pulled in so many different directions that when I get off, I need to just close my eyes and reflect, and I'll get about a good 30 minutes of that. I live in rural Oklahoma, surrounded by horses and cows. I take off my shoes, and I step onto the ground - that's literally what helps me. I don't know if it's just like the touch of mother nature against my feet, but it definitely creates this balance. I'm fueled by anything outdoors - a game of baseball, or a game of soccer, or fishing, I mean, anything outdoors, I just soak it up. And that's what balances me. When I wake up in the morning, I don't look at my phone, I don't open my computer for a good 45 minutes, because I need that reflection to be my best. When I'm at lunch, I don't go email surfing - I close my computer, and I will turn on a movie, or I'll turn on music, or whatever it is, but that's what helps me.
