Stevi Sanderowitz

Stevi Sanderowitz is a senior communications counsel with over 15 years of experience in the legal and insurance industry. She graduated from law school in 2008 and started her career at an insurance coverage carrier side law firm right out of law school. At Sterling Risk, a national regional firm, her typical day involves working with internal stakeholders and policyholder clients on legal and insurance questions, analyzing claims and litigation, and focusing on strategic projects including AI initiatives and risk management. She emphasizes simplifying complex issues for better decision-making. Stevi is also a licensed P&C broker in New York. She is a member of Pro Bono Partners, where she provides pro bono work for nonprofits, and has been a member of the Claims Litigation Management Association (CLM) since the start of her career. She participates in Sterling Risk Gives Back and has fostered a dog, reflecting her passion for animals. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and writing, including self-published books on insurance jokes and haiku observations from her experiences as a woman in the legal field.
