Su Fren Khoo

Su Khoo is a psychodynamic psychotherapist who began her practice in 2017 after 16 years in pastoral ministry within the Catholic faith, where she provided spiritual accompaniment and led retreats. She holds an undergraduate degree in computer science with a minor in communications, a Master's in Divinity focused on pastoral theology from the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, and a Master's of Counseling from Cal State Long Beach. In her current private practice, she works with adult clients on an individual or couples basis, seeing four to six clients daily with a focus on Jungian sandplay therapy when appropriate, as well as unprocessed trauma and difficult life or childhood experiences affecting their present lives and relationships. She maintains memberships in the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and Sandplay Therapists of America, and she is licensed in both California and Oregon as she prepares to relocate to Portland.
