About Suha
I have assumed different roles throughout my career. I work in developing countries where I connected remote areas to urban healthcare via telemedicine a decade ago. Now I build AI-powered solutions for underserved communities including a postpartum mental health app and an educational curriculum for kids to learn AI as a tool. I support the Moms Who Build community as a diamond ambassador running free AI events and teach moms through Moms Who Build events bringing in speakers.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice is that all the barriers we have that we cannot do something are just our own created blockers. We should not dream too little. If we are dreaming, we should be dreaming big because we can achieve anything.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is just take the first step and do not worry about anything. You will see that there is a plan that will organically come once you take your first step.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is mental blockers that communities feel who do not have access to resources or network. They feel they cannot do enough. The opportunity is that the most deprived ones learn technology instantly when given access, so bringing moms to take their first step into events despite feeling not technical enough.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Democratization, accessibility, and inclusivity. These are the three things that I always speak of, and if we have these three things, diversity just follows.
