Her Story

About Suha

My clients are in the mortgage lending space, mostly in financial services, mortgage banking, and real estate. What I do is help with tech stack evaluation, workflow modernization, training, education, and AI readiness. Obviously, with AI being so prevalent right now, it's the hot topic. I'm actually certified with certifications through both Harvard and MIT, so AI is an area that I actually help my clients with - preparing the organization from an AI policy, governance, strategy, and acceptable use perspective. From there, I look at solutions to help organizations become more productive and increase efficiency. I help with employee reassessment, upskilling, and reskilling to make sure they are ready for an artificial intelligence organization and have the right foundation. I do a lot of workshops on AI readiness and strategic planning with executive and senior leadership on how to move from your current organizational structure to the new business model that allows you to be AI-ready. I look at the entire technology ecosystem to make sure you are putting the right foundation and strategy in place to help you succeed in the future.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Suha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I go back to my parents and the way I was raised - they taught me that I could be anything I wanted to be and do anything I wanted to do. But I also think it's a mindset. I tell people my superpower is my curiosity and the lifelong learning. I want to learn everything, and I'm very curious, and I want to find out about things and get my hands dirty. I think having that kind of mindset really helps you become the person that you are.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Always stay curious, never stop learning, ask questions, raise your hand, control what you can.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't be afraid to ask for help. Don't be afraid to raise your hand and say, I want to do this, I want to try this. Even if you may not have all the qualifications, step up and speak up. Find someone that emulates everything you want to be and start towards that. Set an impossible, audacious goal, and then start taking those small steps to get there. Don't give up. And obviously, find mentors, find your right circle. I like to call it, find your own board of directors - people who are going to cheer you on, who are going to support you, who are going to be there for you. Somebody who's gonna be honest with you. Having that community, find the community that works for you.
