What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to caring deeply about people and the experience I create for them. When you lead with intention and authenticity, success comes naturally. I’ve learned that talent opens doors, but it’s commitment and a willingness to keep learning that sustain growth.”
I genuinely love what I do, and I think that energy shows in my work and in how I connect with my clients. I want them to see me as a trusted advisor and an extension of their practice.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
There are a few pieces of advice I try to live by.
1. How you make people feel will be remembered longer than what you do.
2. Don’t chase titles:
“Titles can vanish; what you know and who you are remain portable and valuable.
3. Every new opportunity should move you toward the kind of life and impact you want, not just a higher salary.
4. I heard this recently and it really resonated with me and that’s to Protect your energy as much as your ambition.
Burnout isn’t a badge of honor; it’s a warning light.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to Invest in Your Skills Early
Your skills are your foundation. Take classes, shadow mentors, watch tutorials, and practice constantly. The more versatile and polished you are, the more opportunities open up.
2. Build a Strong Portfolio
Your portfolio is your résumé. Curate only your best work, and update it often. Make it easy to access—whether on a website, social media,, or a printed portfolio —so people see the quality right away.
3. Network with Intention
Connections open doors. Seek out mentors, collaborate with peers, and attend events in your field. Always leave a good impression—you never know which relationship will lead to your next opportunity.
4. Treat Yourself Like a Brand
Develop a signature style or approach that makes you recognizable. Present yourself professionally online and offline. Consistency in your work, attitude, and image builds trust and credibility.
5. Learn the Business Side
Talent gets noticed, but business sense sustains you. Learn how to price your services, manage finances, read contracts. Even a little business knowledge will put you ahead.
6. Stay Resilient
Industries are competitive. You’ll face rejection and slow seasons, but persistence is what sets apart those who succeed. Keep showing up, keep creating, and keep learning.
Big Picture: Build skills, showcase them, connect with people, run yourself like a business, and never stop evolving. That’s the mix that turns passion into a career.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There are constantly new competitors coming to market. Not all manufacturers are the same. If you sell on price you will loose every time. You have to differentiate your products with science, research and adding value.
With high demand, some suppliers may cut corners, cheaper lower-quality products proliferate, which can lead to adverse events and tarnish trust in the whole market.
Now, more than ever there are more clinics, med-spas, and non-traditional providers entering the field offering similar treatments. That leads to promotional pricing and competition over features rather than value. Margins get squeezed.
With Inflation, cost of living pressures and a down economy discretionary spending is more constrained. Aesthetic procedures and high-end cosmetic services are often among the first to be cut or postponed by consumers.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are enjoying life’s little moments, whether it’s playing golf, cooking, or spending quality time with friends and family on the water. Life is short so spend time with people who leave you feeling better than when you came. Prioritize doing things that you enjoy and with people who refuel your soul, not deplete it.
