Summer Law is a strategic and tech-forward operations leader with a proven track record of transforming organizations through innovation, structure, and long-term vision. With over a decade of experience in real estate, business management, and digital transformation, she currently serves as Vice President at SIBA Residences, a multi-generational family office managing a diverse portfolio of real estate assets, operating businesses, and investments.

Summer’s career began with entrepreneurial ventures in retail and e-commerce, where she mastered sales, operations, and customer experience. Transitioning into real estate, she quickly became known for turning underperforming operations into high-functioning systems by implementing scalable processes, accountability frameworks, and sustainable growth models.

At SIBA Residences, Summer led the post-COVID restructuring of operations, transitioning the company to a fully cloud-based tech stack and integrating AI across leasing, finance, compliance, and maintenance. She successfully refinanced $70M in commercial loans, standardized company-wide SOPs, and built a compliance framework aligned with Federal, New York State, and NYC housing laws. Her leadership extends to building high-performing, globally distributed teams with clear succession plans and role definitions.

Her core expertise includes AI and technology integration in operations, real estate portfolio and asset management, compliance with NYC housing and labor laws, leadership development, strategic finance, and family office governance.

Summer is also developing Dynasty Succession Partners — a real estate–anchored GP platform and consultancy for family offices — blending capital strategy, AI-enhanced governance, and succession planning to protect and grow multi-generational wealth. She is recognized for creating clarity, accountability, and confidence in the teams and systems she leads.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the combination of strategic vision, operational discipline, early adoption of transformative technology, and an unwavering belief that building great teams is the most sustainable form of growth.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was to go deep—focus on what you’re truly great at and master it.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is simple: don’t give up—stay persistent, believe in your abilities, and keep pushing forward no matter the obstacles.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Right now, New York City property management is challenged by a chronic housing shortage, rising maintenance and labor costs, strict rent regulations, and political uncertainty that makes long-term planning difficult. Many owners are struggling with deferred maintenance and slow housing court processes, especially for rent-stabilized properties. At the same time, opportunities are emerging in technology adoption (AI, PropTech, smart building systems), high-end and luxury developments, ESG-driven retrofits, and innovative financing models like asset tokenization. Operators who can balance compliance, efficiency, and tenant experience while leveraging new tech stand to gain a competitive edge.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Perseverance is the value I hold most dear in both my work and personal life—it drives me to stay committed, overcome challenges, and keep growing no matter the setbacks.
