I attribute my success to a commitment to building lasting impact—designing systems that deliver real results while mentoring and empowering the engineers and analysts around me. My focus has always been on creating solutions from the ground up and helping others grow alongside me.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my mentor, Denise Gaffney, who taught me the importance of guiding others while continuously building my own expertise.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the technical sector is to have confidence in their skills and be willing to advocate for their work, while remaining empathetic and collaborative with those around them. Technical excellence and emotional intelligence are not opposites—they are complementary strengths that enable long-term success.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The opportunity is to lead the adoption of AI responsibly—using it to extend human capability while preserving intellectual rigor, ethical judgment, and accountability. The challenge is resisting intellectual complacency and ensuring that expertise, not automation, remains the source of trust.

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are balance, curiosity, and connection—whether that’s tackling challenges in my career or enjoying the outdoors through hiking and gardening.
