Her Story

About suneetha

I serve as the Senior Director for Enterprise Product and Technical Strategy, where I focus on providing enterprise services for all the businesses we support, including Pulse and Studio. We bring in Class A services for each of the businesses so they can autonomously function on their capabilities, and we are the backbone for any of the business units. I initially started as a software engineer and then worked myself into architecting solutions, developing solution architecture, leading data initiatives, and moving up into portfolio management. I've been with this company for almost 20 years and have dealt with every single business unit, working with their technical challenges and aligning them with the capabilities of the systems we have. Although I've been here for 20 years, I try to move within the company every 2 years, serving each business for 2 to 3 years before moving to another business. This constant navigation across businesses helps me learn different models and adapt to changes in culture, because each business has its own unique way of operating. My role is more strategic, so I provide a lot of insight into how and where we have opportunities to grow and leverage AI. I spend time evaluating products and leveraging AI tools as my own virtual assistants to help develop plans and provide business insights.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with suneetha

01What do you attribute your success to?

Persistence has been her anchor—enabling her to push through complexity, navigate ambiguity, and confidently step into new and unfamiliar roles. Inquisitiveness has been her catalyst—driving her to ask better questions, explore deeper insights, and fully understand how different businesses operate at their core. Continuous learning has been her advantage—allowing her to adapt, evolve, and stay relevant in an ever-changing enterprise landscape.

Although she has spent 20 years within the same company, her career has been anything but static. She has consistently moved across business units, immersing herself in new operating models, leadership styles, and cultural dynamics. Each transition required not just technical acumen, but cultural intelligence—the ability to understand how each business thinks, makes decisions, and defines success.

This intentional reinvention every few years has kept her perspective fresh and her leadership sharp. Rather than remaining confined to a single path, she built a multidimensional career—transforming challenges into learning opportunities and new environments into platforms for growth.

It is this rare combination of resilience, curiosity, and adaptability that has defined her journey—evolving her from a dedicated professional into a dynamic, forward-thinking, and highly successful businesswoman.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The biggest advice I would give is first understanding the business acumen is important, and trying to see how technology can solve their issues, focusing on the outcomes and productivity. One of the things that young women should develop as part of their DNA is being inquisitive in learning, trying to explore the opportunities and being persistent. Persistency is the number one thing that will actually enable them to have more insight into how the business operates.
