About Sunila
Sunila Levi is a technology leader serving as CIO/CTO at Blood Cancer United in Austin, Texas. With more than 25 years of experience, including the last 16 years in management, she began her career as a Java developer and engineer before advancing through roles as analyst, director, and deputy CTO at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Levi earned her MBA from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, holds an engineering degree from India, and maintains TOGAF Enterprise Architecture certification along with executive education from Harvard, Cornell, MIT, and the LBJ School of Management at the University of Texas. She is actively involved in professional organizations as past president and advisory board chair of HIMSS Central Texas and as a member of the CAHME Strategic Initiatives Committee. Levi has been recognized as Brave Technologist of the Year during the COVID period and has served as a speaker, mentor, and panelist at South by Southwest for the past six years. Outside her professional work, she has been a member of High Point Baptist Church for 30 years, where she serves as a youth leader for girls and supports the youth service mission SHIFT.
