Her Story
About Sunitha
I have been in the corporate world for more than 25 years, with a hybrid experience spanning India and the US. Over the last 10 years in the US, I scaled to the leadership level of SVP in the staffing and recruiting industry, where I piloted tech services within my earlier company. I am quite passionate about technology and have elevated myself in the technology space. I am a recognized mentor by Women in Tech and have been mentoring a lot of women who are looking to scale their career or find their direction in the technology space. Last year, I graduated with a diploma in hypnotherapy, and I am also an NLP-certified practitioner. I would like to use all those skills with women and be an influencer in terms of influencing women to grow to the next level, whether related to their mental wellness or preparing people for the next era in the AI world and the forthcoming transition we are all going through. I am the founder and co-founder of CodePlix AI, a global tech company where I own about 90% of the company. In my role, I am more into a client-facing role, providing solutions to clients, as well as managing the company and being responsible for the revenue growth of the organization, functioning primarily like a chief growth officer. I have about 9 to 10 certifications, including as an advanced handwriting analyst and other therapy-related certifications, which I do as a hobby while also helping people.

Ten minutes with Sunitha
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to reinvention, relevance, and impact. These three principles have guided my journey in the technology space and helped me navigate my career from India to the US, scaling to leadership levels and eventually founding my own company.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
My best career advice was from PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi, who always says the seven C's. You need to learn, learn, learn. No matter what age you're in, you need to keep on learning, never stop learning. This advice has stayed with me throughout my career and continues to guide my approach to professional development.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In today's world, education does matter for some basic concepts, but it is more about experience and real-time learning. What matters most is competing with the current industry and technology, which comes with experience and what you learn. We are all going through a major transition with AI, and I am preparing people, not just women, but people in general, for the next era and the forthcoming world we are facing.
