About Sunshine
Sunshine Rigsby is a marketing, sales, and operations professional with experience in the mass torts industry, particularly helping individuals harmed by products. She has served as Deputy Director of Sales and Marketing since 2023. In this role, she manages sales, digital marketing, public relations, client engagement, and business strategy. Prior to this, she worked in pharmaceutical sales and various customer service positions. She has completed multiple Coursera courses to build expertise in marketing, ROIs, and e-commerce topics. Rigsby attributes her drive to her upbringing and values passion and empathy in her work, aiming to support clients through challenging times while pursuing entrepreneurial opportunities.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I watched my mother struggle and work 3 jobs just to be able to put food on the table. And because of that, it made me a very strong, independent woman. I watched her take care of 6 children... Growing up poor like I did, I think opened my perspective, and made me see that, you know, I can strive to do more, and I can work really hard to do better.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be scared to take the leap. That may be the best journey of your life. Because, you know, I was really nervous about it, I was like, I don't know anything about it. I don't think that I could do this. And, you know, it's led me to meet some of the most amazing people in my life.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Things are very slow in the mass tort industry right now... It always slows down, kind of, around those periods, so it's two times a year. It's in April and in October. The biggest conference that comes up in October is Mass Tort Made Perfect, which is MTMP.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I do believe that I put a lot of passion into what I do... to have passion and empathy. There's tons of people... you have to have that within you. I want to be a light at the end of the tunnel for people... empathy.
