About Supriya
Supriya Prasanna serves as AI Product Lead at Brembo, where she has worked for 2.9 years leading AI product initiatives from use case development through deployment. She specializes in projects involving next-generation technologies such as quantum computing and AI frameworks including LLMs that transform business processes. Prasanna started her professional journey as a computer science engineer in India, where she received the First Prize Award for the best project of her batch. She later pursued a master's degree in Business Analytics with a specialization in Data Science at the University of Illinois Chicago. With 7 to 8 years of experience in technology, her background also includes roles as a data scientist focused on machine learning. She attributes her success to her faith, parents, and husband, while valuing honesty, clarity, and optimism in both her professional and personal life.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I always put my higher power ahead of me all the time. My parents and my husband are also three big pillars for me throughout my journey.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Things are changing every day. The ever-changing nature of AI, with new models and frameworks every 15 days. The ambiguity and non-deterministic nature of AI made me skeptical at times, but learning through hackathons, conferences, and the Bay Area community helped.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Being honest with leadership and peers. Having clarity on what you want to do and the steps to take without panicking. Optimism that things will work out no matter what, especially as an immigrant.
