Her Interview

Ten minutes with Surabhi

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think I would attribute it more towards my sincerity, motivation, and hard work that I've done so far, and also have, like, you know, adapting, adapting at every phase of my career journey.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of my managers once gave me the advice to never get married to a job. Everybody's very dedicated towards my work. So, like, take control if something that you wanted to accomplish did not go as per your plan. And that would be more exciting. Take a second shot at it, and move on. There's nothing wrong in having a failure.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

As a young professional you should do the most of your time. Learn the most that you can, upskill, look at the latest technologies, and this is your time to actually grow in terms of knowledge. Forget about going in terms of career, etc. That will come inbuilt. And also social networking. Build your work with strong and other career-oriented women or men. Make sure that you have mentors throughout your journey.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The advent of AI in the IT field, requiring upskilling to meet productivity targets using AI tools, similar to when computers came into the world.
