Drawing on her education from Northeastern University and her experience as a Doctor of Pharmacy, Susan has built BHR Skincare with a commitment to quality, transparency, and efficacy. The brand carefully sources high-potency herbs and specialty ingredients, blending natural herbal extracts and essential oils into water-based emulsions designed to deliver results without sensitizing fragrances. Each formulation reflects her belief that effective skincare should be both gentle and scientifically validated. In addition to leading BHR Skincare, Susan serves as Chief Pharmacy Officer at EsperHealth.ai, further reinforcing her expertise at the intersection of healthcare, science, and business leadership. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the fusion of my clinical training, my faith, and a genuine desire to care for others. What began as a single formula I created during pregnancy grew into Blessed Healing Remedies LLC, now a full organic skincare line, and it remains my proudest accomplishment and a true ministry. I lead with prayer, purpose, and passion, and the greatest reward is knowing my work positively impacts people’s daily lives.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Staying active and joyful through movement is a core value in both my work and personal life. As a Zumba instructor and lifelong dancer, I believe movement is a powerful form of self-care, confidence, and expression. Prioritizing fitness, energy, and balance allows me to show up fully—both professionally and personally—with positivity and purpose.
