What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the fusion of my clinical training, my faith, and a genuine desire to care for others. What began as a single formula I created during pregnancy grew into Blessed Healing Remedies LLC, now a full organic skincare line, and it remains my proudest accomplishment and a true ministry. I lead with prayer, purpose, and passion, and the greatest reward is knowing my work positively impacts people’s daily lives.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice was to keep your priorities straight. Understand my audience, how to promote to the correct population based on age, needs and skin types. Don't give up and keep the faith. It's also very important to hire the right person for helping you.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Know your products. Test them and make sure you get the desired results. Don't give up and keep the faith. Try to get Brand recognition first and don't spend a lot of money on advertisement right up front. Get testimonials from people who try your products. Get reviews and publish them on google etc.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Skincare is a difficult field to enter, simply because there are so many companies out there. You have to have a very unique brand to sell.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Staying active and joyful through movement is a core value in both my work and personal life. As a Zumba instructor and lifelong dancer, I believe movement is a powerful form of self-care, confidence, and expression. Prioritizing fitness, energy, and balance allows me to show up fully—both professionally and personally—with positivity and purpose. I am also very active in the community.
