About Susan
Susan Sloan worked in the field of evaluation, beginning with a for-profit firm in California that assessed various programs with a specialty in alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention specifically in California schools. She subsequently joined the health department in Whatcom County as an evaluation and data person, eventually taking on roles in administrative support to the director, communication work, and emergency communication including social media. After retiring in 2016, she wrote and self-published a book over five years about the true story of Holocaust survivor Fred Bragner. Susan lives in a rural area of Whatcom County, Washington, and is involved in her church.
