She is an accomplished geospatial and surveying professional currently serving as a Transportation Surveyor in Surveying Office Systems Support at Caltrans in Sacramento, California. In this role, she provides technical support for enterprise surveying and geospatial applications including Civil 3D, MicroStation, Trimble Business Center, and TopoDOT, maintains the Caltrans Feature Code Library and associated configuration files, troubleshoots software, configuration, schema, and data integrity issues, validates workflows for survey and GIS attribute processing, and evaluates beta and production software releases to document defects and workflow impacts. Her earlier experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University, where she contributed to projects including the NGA GEO-ESCON Point Cloud Transformation Toolkit, the Geospatial Center for the Arctic and Pacific, ODOT coastal landslide monitoring for climate change adaptation, and the NCHRP surveying and mapping guide for transportation projects, and as a Geographic Information System Intern at Caltrans, where she georeferenced utility changes on state highways, imported data from NGS CORS into Trimble Business Center, validated postmile alignments, and developed geodatabases of recovered monuments. She also served as Classroom Tech and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, and as an IT Service Desk and Student Tech Desk Support Technician.
