About Susanne
Susanne Powers serves as owner and provider at Seaside Hearing Solutions, where she offers comprehensive hearing and tinnitus care including evaluations, device sales, service, and support. A nationally board-certified hearing instrument specialist with 20 years in the field, she opened her own practice to focus on patient-centered care after working in sales-driven environments. Powers is a member of the International Hearing Society and sees 10 to 15 patients each day for testing, fittings, and service. She values integrity and credits her success to her genuine and caring approach, advising others to take chances and trust their instincts.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I think that being my authentic self and compassion has made me most successful. Patients know that I genuinely care about them and their hearing. In this business integrity is everything.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Best career advice I would say is be authentic and trust your instincts.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Believe in yourself and learn everything you can.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The opportunity to make an impact in people’s lives is huge. Technology today has made it so much easier to help people hear in challenging environments.
