Her Story

About Susie

Susie Klein is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, UESCA Certified Running Coach, and running gait analyst who is passionate about helping individuals achieve lifelong health through movement, nutrition, and sustainable wellness practices. Based in Orlando, Florida, she is the founder of Susie Klein Wellness, where she combines evidence-based health coaching with personalized running guidance to help clients build healthier lifestyles. Drawing from nearly two decades of personal running experience, Susie empowers runners of all levels to pursue fitness in a way that supports long-term physical and mental well-being.

Before launching her wellness and coaching career, Susie built a strong foundation in business and healthcare administration. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida International University and previously managed operations at Central Florida Eye Care. Her professional background in administration, combined with her training through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, enables her to bring a structured, holistic approach to health coaching. In addition to running her coaching practice, she serves as a Retail Sales Specialist at REI, where she helps customers find appropriate footwear and outdoor gear while promoting active, healthy lifestyles.

Susie’s professional philosophy centers on integrating health and running into a balanced, sustainable way of life. She encourages runners to focus on foundational habits such as proper nutrition, strength training, recovery, and mindful movement rather than pursuing performance alone. Beyond coaching, she is currently authoring The Lifelong Runner, a book that explores the experiences and insights of long-term runners through interviews and research. Through her coaching, writing, and community engagement, Susie continues to inspire individuals to embrace joyful movement, resilience, and lifelong wellness.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Susie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to grit, passion, hard work, persistence, and never giving up even when learning new things like writing a book.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

My dad advised that you don't have to follow a certain path. Just because you went into a certain field doesn't mean you can't veer off to something you're more passionate about, even later in life.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't get blinded by new trends. Do your own homework, study it, learn what you're saying so you can make an impact in people's lives.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is the overwhelming confusing information in the health and running world from trends and influencers. I advocate going back to basics, relying on data-backed practices rather than fads.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Being genuine, kind, and positive. I want people to leave interactions feeling good, and to leave a positive imprint because you never know what someone is going through.
