My success comes from my humility and humbleness, always wanting to learn, admitting when facing adversity in a competitive environment, and maintaining discipline as a key factor.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Stay true to who we are, follow our passions, dreams and goals, and try to be the best in everything that we do.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be the best at what we do, give the best from our ability and talent, keep learning, and be adaptable to the environment around us.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Some of the biggest challenges in controls engineering field is underrepresentation of women, particularly in senior technical and leadership positions. Women leaders may encounter different expectations on communication style, being direct may perceived differently than it is for male colleagues.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important both in my professional and personal life are integrity, accountability, excellence and respect. At work, I value integrity, taking ownership and follow through commitments which are essential in delivering results as a team. I value collaboration and respect, as the best result comes from diverse perspective and open communication. In my personal life, I value family, honesty and kindness. I believe in treating people with respect and being dependable.
