Suzanne Daub

I've been working in publishing since 1982, which is 44 years in the field. This is a family business that my father-in-law started, and we took over in 1985. Since it's a small company, I do a little of everything. My roles have shifted over the years as the company has pivoted from print publishing into print and digital publishing. I've been the editor ever since we took over, and I handle both sales and editorial as my main responsibilities. I work an average of 70 hours a week. My most notable professional achievement has been managing to pivot through the pandemic and keeping the company relevant. The publishing industry has gone through some dramatic changes and huge challenges, and being a B2B business during the pandemic required a lot of creative pivoting.
