About Svetlana
I am an educator with about 30 years in the field. I started with tutoring at 15 or 16 helping students learn English as a foreign language. I earned my master's in teaching English and German as foreign languages from a state university in Russia. Currently preparing to teach rhetoric, logic, and world and American history at Grace Christian Academy in Minden, Nevada for high school students, while also homeschooling my three children for over 10 years.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Teaching is a calling that requires passion because you become a role model for students who learn from you and remember you for life. Enjoy learning as much as you can, practice, be the best role model you can be, and never forget that you are a perpetual student who learns while teaching.
