Her Story

About Sydnee

I am a serial entrepreneur and the Co‑Founder of Quylara Consulting, where I lead the operational architecture, governance standards, and strategic delivery model for our entire platform. My work spans every program we support licensed, non‑licensed, employer‑facing, and agency‑development ensuring that each one operates with clarity, compliance, and a disciplined, scalable framework.

Across Quylara, I serve as the central point of alignment for consultative strategy, employer discovery, program interpretation, and operational consistency. I design the structures that allow agencies and partners to deliver a unified, high‑standard experience across all verticals.

My background is multidisciplinary, with expertise in group life and disability, healthcare strategy, Total Absence Management, HR recruiting and retention, and end‑to‑end ADA and accommodation governance. I integrate benefits, compliance, and workforce strategy into a cohesive advisory model that strengthens employer outcomes and supports sustainable agency growth across the platform.

I’m known for executive‑level communication, client‑service leadership, and the ability to translate complex regulatory and benefits frameworks into clear, actionable guidance for employers, carriers, TPAs, and agency partners. Developing people is a core part of my work; I build governance frameworks, structured training, and consultative coaching that elevate performance while protecting against operational and compliance risk.

My leadership reinforces the operational hierarchy of the Quylara platform and ensures that our mission (delivering high‑impact, compliant, and strategically aligned solutions) is upheld across every program and partnership. Carriers, agencies, and employers rely on my expertise to maintain program integrity, strengthen relationships, and support the long‑term scalability of the ecosystem we are building.

01What do you attribute your success to?

My success is rooted in my faith and in the people I choose to surround myself with. I’ve learned that as an entrepreneur, one of the greatest privileges is the ability to be intentional about your environment. You really do become a reflection of the individuals you spend your time with. I’ve been fortunate to build alongside people who think differently, who challenge norms, who operate with discipline, and who are anchored in their own relationship with God. That combination (spiritual grounding and high‑caliber community) has shaped my perspective, sharpened my leadership, and elevated the standard I hold myself to. It’s not something I take lightly, and it’s a major part of why I’ve been able to grow, build, and sustain success over the years.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to do work you genuinely love, because when your career aligns with your purpose, it never feels like work. Passion creates endurance. It gives you the capacity to navigate complexity, lead through uncertainty, and stay committed long after motivation fades. When you’re operating in a space that energizes you, the challenges become part of the fulfillment, not a deterrent. That mindset has shaped how I build, how I lead, and how I sustain momentum over the long term.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe in yourself, and don’t be afraid to bet on your own potential. In this industry, you can spend your life building someone else’s vision, or you can make the decision to build your own. The women who rise are the ones who trust their instincts, invest in their growth, and refuse to shrink themselves to fit someone else’s expectations. Your confidence, your discipline, and your willingness to take ownership of your path will determine how far you go.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunity in this field is the ability to give organizations back the time they don’t have. Most teams are stretched thin, juggling competing priorities, and operating without the structure needed to keep up. Consultants and entrepreneurs who can streamline processes, remove friction, and create clarity become invaluable. When you help an organization reclaim time- through better systems, better alignment, and better decision‑making- you directly strengthen performance, retention, and overall stability.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me, both in my work and in my personal life, are: alignment, integrity, presence, stewardship, collaboration, and reciprocity. I believe in operating from a place where my actions match my purpose, where commitments are honored, and where I show up fully for the people and responsibilities entrusted to me. I value leading with care and accountability, building relationships that are mutually supportive, and creating environments where people can succeed together. These values mirror the foundation of Quylara and guide how I build, partner, and lead every day.
