Her Story

About Sydney

Sydney Corpuz (stage name music Sydney Celeste) is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), singer-songwriter, recording artist, and autism advocate whose personal experiences have shaped a career dedicated to helping others. Her professional journey took a meaningful turn after her son was diagnosed with autism, inspiring her to move beyond previous roles in cosmetics management and her family's graphic design business to pursue work that creates a lasting impact. Determined to support children and families facing similar challenges, Sydney became a certified Registered Behavior Technician, where she provides hands-on behavioral therapy and helps children develop essential skills through trust, patience, and individualized care. In her role as an RBT, Sydney specializes in implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). She believes that the foundation of successful therapy begins with building strong relationships and helping each child feel safe, comfortable, and understood. Guided by values of compassion, selflessness, and service, she is passionate about supporting children with autism while providing encouragement and hope to their families. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sydney continues to expand her knowledge of behavior analysis and child development to further her impact in the field. Alongside her work in behavioral health, Sydney has built a successful career in music and media. A lifelong performer, she began singing in church, children's theater, and community events before becoming a published writer at age eleven. Her songwriting evolved into a professional music career that has earned industry recognition with 2026 Josie Music Awards Nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year Multi Genre and also including a 2022 International Singer Songwriter Association Award for Female Songwriter and a number-one trending artist ranking on Radio 752.2. In 2026 also her latest single Ready to Break Loose was relased through BIG Records whom she signed with as well. The song has gone nunber 1 on the Christian R&B HipHop radio platform N!M Music. In 2023, she released her first Christian single, "In Spite of Me," and became host of The Sydney Celeste Show. Today, she continues to create faith-based music while using her platform to advocate for autism awareness, inspire others through her story, and champion a brighter future for children and families affected by autism.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sydney

01What do you attribute your success to?

I don't know if I consider myself successful - I consider myself very determined. I feel like I had a call on my life to do this, to do everything I'm doing. When I feel that I'm called to do something, I stop at no odds to get what I'm supposed to get done. Of course, there's trials and tribulations along the way, but at the end, I know that God is gonna put me where I'm supposed to be, and I put my faith and trust in Him that I have done what He's asked me to do, so I know in the long run it's gonna work out. It's not about me - I think it's about what I've been called to do, and then I'm executing the plan. So I would attribute my success, if you want to call it success, to my Maker, to God.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

You need to find something you love, you need to find something that's sustainable, that you can actually accomplish something with - that's going to make you an income. But you also have to find something that really actually makes a difference. I think that's the best advice - look outside of yourself, look at things around you, and really see what's going on in the world, and see what you can use that you have that can make a difference in the world. I think people get so enthralled in just their one thing, and then they forget that there's a whole bunch of people - every single person you meet is carrying something. Nobody is perfect. So if there's something you can do to use what you have to make a career and do something to help others, I think that's the best gift that you can give to this human population.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Seek work that you genuinely love, that is sustainable for your life, and that allows you to use your skills to serve others—especially those who may be struggling and need someone willing to make a difference.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in the autism field is increasing awareness, understanding, and support for children and families who are often overlooked. There is tremendous potential to build partnerships and sponsorships that bring together advocacy, nonprofit organizations, and platforms like music and media to create meaningful change and expand access to resources.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Faith in God, selflessness, and a commitment to helping others are the values that guide both my personal life and my work, shaping how I serve my family, my community, and those who need support most.
