Her ability to cultivate meaningful professional relationships has made her a respected connector and advocate within the global talent ecosystem.
Sydney earned a Bachelor of Journalism in Advertising, with a minor in French, from the University of Georgia and holds the prestigious SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential. She believes that the most valuable insights come not only from data but from open dialogue, curiosity, and a willingness to learn from others. Guided by the values of honesty, transparency, and loyalty, Sydney is passionate about creating inclusive communities where professionals feel informed, supported, and empowered. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, reading, experimenting with new recipes, spending time with her two dogs, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs during college football season.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Sydney
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the community of people who have believed in and supported me throughout my career. Early on, their encouragement gave me the confidence to pursue new opportunities and trust in my abilities. Their belief in my potential has been a constant source of motivation and continues to inspire my growth.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to follow my heart and trust my intuition. A former boss encouraged me to make career decisions based on what truly felt right rather than simply choosing the most obvious option. That advice has stayed with me and continues to guide my career. I believe that when I trust my instincts and stay true to my values, I’m more likely to find the right opportunities and the career path that’s meant for me.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is not to feel pressured to have everything figured out. Trust your intuition, stay open to new opportunities, and remember that your career will evolve over time. I believe that what’s meant for you will find its way, so keep learning, stay confident, and embrace the journey.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me in both my work and personal life are honesty, transparency, and loyalty. I believe in building trust through integrity, being open and authentic in my actions, and staying committed to the people and responsibilities that matter most.
