Sydnie Wilda is an accomplished self-storage professional and business development leader with nearly a decade of experience spanning property management, operations, development, acquisitions, investing, and strategic growth. As Vice President of Property – Self Storage at Truck Parking Club, she focuses on building strategic partnerships, expanding enterprise relationships, and helping self-storage operators create practical ancillary revenue opportunities from underutilized property. Her work brings together sales, marketing, onboarding, and operations to strengthen customer relationships and drive sustainable business growth.
Throughout her career, Sydnie has developed a comprehensive understanding of the self-storage industry from both an operational and development perspective. She has held leadership roles in business development, RV and boat storage development, property management, and facility operations, gaining hands-on experience in revenue management, acquisitions, construction, customer experience, sales, marketing, and remote management systems. This diverse background allows her to understand the challenges operators face while identifying creative opportunities to maximize property performance and revenue.
Sydnie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Idaho State University and is actively involved in the broader self-storage community, including serving as a Senator with the Self Storage Association’s Young Leaders Group. She is passionate about building meaningful industry relationships, supporting innovative solutions, and helping property owners recognize the untapped potential within their existing assets. Through her leadership, industry involvement, and growth-focused approach, Sydnie continues to contribute to the evolution of the self-storage industry while helping operators find new ways to strengthen their businesses.

01What do you attribute your success to?

Hard work, grew up with a single mom that she watched put herself thru school and receive multiple degree's, her children are her 1st driver wants to make sure she provides a great life for them and they are her biggest motivator, having a positive attitude, and the women that have influenced her in the industry

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

No is a complete full and acceptable answer ( have to lay down boundaries to make sure your putting your best foot forward)

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be hungry, be eager to learn everything, step into roles you don't feel prepared for, asks questions, push yourself, don't be willing to settle, and bring other women with you because rising tides raise all ships

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

A male dominant field-finding female mentors that can mentor you and help you grow and value your success as much as their own

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity making sure you know what your doing is right, Family and the strength they bring with that, honesty in order to push thru and find creative solutions, hard work being willing to put in the time and effort, and courage
