Syndy Mendoza is a project manager with approximately 20 years of experience in the aerospace field. She began her career working in aviation for Embright Executive Jets, focusing on executive aviation, before moving into commercial aviation and then aerospace, where she has worked on different projects leading to her current role. Her typical workday involves managing various projects from 8 to 5, collaborating with team members across functions. She started her education at a community college before attending Bay Path University in Springfield and has completed PMP classes while working on her master's degree. Syndy attributes her success to hard work, constant rededication, and pushing forward, and she values trust and integrity in both her professional and personal life. She advises young women entering the industry to work hard, educate themselves about the business, get involved in aerospace, and continue pushing forward despite challenges such as being a woman in a male-dominant field.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Biggest challenge is becoming audited steel in this field. Being a female in a very male-dominant business like aerospace.
