Syreeta Vaughn is a Nuclear Facility Safety Project Specialist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory with over 20 years of experience in nuclear safety, engineering, and operational excellence. She specializes in criticality safety, nuclear material accountability, regulatory compliance, and workforce development, leading initiatives that strengthen safety programs across Department of Energy nuclear facilities. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Occupational Safety and Health at West Virginia University, she is passionate about modernizing nuclear safety training, mentoring future leaders, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
