Ten minutes with Tabatha
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the unwavering support of my family. My mother, who now lives with us, has been an important part of my life, and I am grateful for the opportunity to care for her. My husband and children have also been a constant source of encouragement, strength, and motivation. I believe that having a strong and supportive family foundation gives me the confidence and resilience to pursue my goals, overcome challenges, and continue striving for excellence. With the right support system, I truly believe that anything is possible.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to roll up my sleeves and go with the punches. I have learned that success requires a willingness to work hard, remain adaptable, and face challenges with resilience. Throughout my career, I have embraced change, learned from difficult experiences, and continued moving forward even when circumstances did not go as planned. This mindset has taught me to stay focused, remain solution oriented, and approach every challenge as an opportunity to grow.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to stay focused on your goals and be intentional about building the knowledge and skills needed to achieve them. Education is a powerful foundation for professional growth, so I encourage women to continue learning, seek opportunities to expand their expertise, and never stop developing themselves. Just as importantly, surround yourself with a strong support system that believes in you, encourages your ambitions, and helps you navigate challenges along the way. With determination, education, and the right people behind you, you can accomplish your goals and build a successful and fulfilling career.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is the amount of inventory that remains on the market and the need to secure new contracts that allow us to move those properties forward and successfully close transactions. At the same time, this environment presents an opportunity to strengthen relationships and build trust with real estate agents and other industry professionals. I believe that consistent communication, reliability, and a strong commitment to delivering results are essential to earning that trust and creating successful, long-term partnerships.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me, both professionally and personally, are a strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty. I believe in giving my best effort, doing the right thing even when no one is watching, and being someone others can depend on. Loyalty is especially important to me because I value commitment and building lasting relationships. I believe in staying dedicated to the people and organizations I work with rather than constantly moving from one opportunity to another.
