Tabatha L. Gomillia is an accomplished Lead Electrical Inspector for the St. Louis County Government, bringing over three decades of experience in the electrical and construction industries. Beginning her career as an electrician in the United States Navy, Tabatha developed a strong foundation in technical precision, safety standards, and leadership under pressure. She later continued her craft through IBEW Local 1 before joining St. Louis County in 2011, where she has served with distinction for more than 14 years. Her expertise spans electrical wiring, safety compliance, and inspection management—skills that have made her a trusted authority in her field.
A proud graduate of Ranken Technical College, Tabatha earned both an Associate’s degree in Applied Management and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Construction Design and Management. Beyond her work in government, she is deeply committed to community education and safety advocacy. As the host of the Ask the Lady Electrical Inspector Podcast, she shares her knowledge on topics like electrical inspection best practices, safety protocols, and compliance requirements—helping homeowners, electricians, and contractors navigate complex regulations with confidence.
