Her Interview

Ten minutes with Tacole

01What do you attribute your success to?

My faith and relationship with God has made me successful.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

It's okay to change positions as you change, as the world changes, as circumstances change, and as your purpose might change. I used to think once I got my first job as a teacher I was supposed to stay until retirement, but I've learned to accept change and go with the flow.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

You know yourself and you need to trust yourself. Don't allow anyone to talk you out of your dream, vision, or purpose. You're not going to always be everyone's cup of tea, but there is someone that you're here for in regards to meeting needs.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges is finding opportunity to share my gifts with people who need them and to break down the barrier of shame and embarrassment. Many women experience miscarriage but don't talk about it with anyone.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Love, support and safety are most important. It's very important for people to feel safe. At the core we all need love but people won't experience that if they don't feel safe. I want to be a safe place where people can be their most vulnerable self and receive the healing they need.
