What do you attribute your success to?

TaHara’s life of service is a legacy and a calling. Inspired by her mother, she began as an educator and youth therapist before dedicating 25 years to the nonprofit world. In 2016, she founded an organization to teach life skills to women and girls, funding it personally for five years. From Chicago to Ghana where a transformative 2020 trip stands as her proudest moment—her greatest reward is hearing testimonies of improved grades and soaring confidence. A devoted youth leader at UPPERROOM Outreach Ministry for two years, following decades at her childhood church, TaHara attributes every unexplainable victory and scholarship to God. Fueled by faith, her visionary future includes a Chicago youth facility and expanding scholarships for girls across the globe.
