Her Interview

Ten minutes with Talia

01What do you attribute your success to?

My experience as being a legally registered homeless youth has really propelled me forward. Once you experience living like that, you have a lot of motivation to push really hard to make sure that you don't end up in that situation again, so I've had a bit of a drive from that experience.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

You belong at the table, and do not be afraid to be loud and to take up space.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

AI is a big challenge in tech. While it can help propel forward, there's the thought of whether it will replace jobs or if skills are still valuable. The opportunity is adapting to using AI and embracing new technologies so you don't fall behind.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, integrity, empathy, respect, and authenticity.
