About Talisha
Talisha Johnson serves as a contact center manager in healthcare, where she leads a team of about 45 agents and supervisors at a structured family care program in Houston, Texas. With six years in the healthcare field and nearly three years at her current organization, she draws on her prior 15 years in the legal field to support her transition into roles focused on helping others. Johnson earned a bachelor's degree in business and management and holds certifications as a paralegal and life coach since 2019, along with certificates in customer service and management. Outside her nine-to-five role, she runs Elevating Moms, a business dedicated to guiding single mothers from public assistance into the workforce through coaching. Her expertise lies in coaching and developing others, which she applies both at work to advance her team's careers and in her personal business. Johnson volunteers at the Houston Women's Shelter and the Houston Food Bank, often involving her grandchildren to instill community values. She advises young women entering the field to learn continuously, as the industry evolves rapidly, and to equip those they lead with tools gained through ongoing education and personal development.
