Tamara Fleming

Tamara Fleming is the founder and head of creative operations at Tamara Fleming Photography, based in Newark, New Jersey. She has led her own agency since 2017, working with nonprofits, Fortune 500 companies, and small business owners to deliver branded content and visual assets through photography and creative direction. With 15 years of experience, her background includes serving as photo desk manager at PR Newswire, where she coordinated assignments for 1,300 photographers worldwide, co-founding FemWorks for multicultural marketing strategies, and co-founding pocstock to improve representation of people of color in stock photography. She earned an Associates in Arts followed by a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Certificate in Project Management from Phoenix University. Fleming received recognition in Adweek's Women Trailblazers in 2022 and serves on the board of an organization providing housing for homeless LGBT individuals ages 18 to 24. She also founded the Expose Her program, which uses photography for personal development and confidence building among middle and high school girls.
