Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I live by the three D’s: Drive, Determination, and Discipline. My advice to young women entering any industry is to fully embrace these qualities. It’s important to keep pushing forward with passion, stay committed to your goals, and maintain the discipline needed to grow and succeed. These three principles have been the foundation of my journey and can be just as powerful in helping others build their own paths to success.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I face is fighting for women to be seen and recognized as equals in the workplace. Despite progress, there are still barriers that make it harder for women to have their voices heard and their contributions valued. I’m committed to breaking down these obstacles and creating spaces where women can thrive, lead, and be respected for their talents and achievements. It’s a continuous effort, but one that is absolutely necessary for true equity.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I deeply value leading by example in both my personal and professional life. As a proud mother of two adult children—one in law school and the other recently graduated—I believe it’s important to be their first mentor, showing them through my actions how to face life’s challenges. Despite going through difficult times, including two brain surgeries, being laid off, and relocating for a new position, I have embraced resilience and healing. Moving forward with strength and integrity is something I strive for every day, and I hope to inspire those around me through my commitment to perseverance, growth, and authentic leadership.
