The best career advice I’ve received has come through both encouragement and experience. My family—especially my parents—have always been my greatest mentors. They have been my constant cheerleaders, lifting me up through multiple business ideas, offering honest feedback, and providing support whenever I needed it. Their belief in me gave me the confidence to take risks, learn from setbacks, and keep moving forward.

Professionally, one of the most transformative experiences in my career was working under a leader who trusted me to turn around a struggling business. That challenge forced me to think independently, take ownership of outcomes, and lead with confidence. Through that experience, I learned the value of trust, accountability, and strategic thinking—lessons that ultimately led to significant revenue growth and continue to shape how I approach my career and leadership today.

In both my personal and professional life, I prioritize family, faith, community, and service. I love spending quality time with my 12- and 14-year-old children, whose energy and curiosity keep our family dynamic vibrant. My husband and I also serve as pastors in our local church, guiding and supporting our community and children to enrich lives and nurture growth. These commitments ground me, shape my perspective, and reinforce the importance of integrity, compassion, and service in everything I do.

Professionally, I value discipline, adaptability, and innovation. Leading five divisions of our business during COVID-19 was one of my proudest achievements. Navigating the challenges of wearing multiple hats, I focused on creative strategies—selling nursing services innovatively and leveraging digital products to connect remote employees with timely government updates. This not only generated significant revenue but also positively impacted lives and ultimately led to our company’s acquisition by a global leader.

I also value continuous learning and staying ahead in a rapidly changing world. In the AI space, for example, practical experience and adaptability are often more valuable than traditional education, as technology evolves at an unprecedented pace.
