Tamarie Kaufman is a financial advisor and insurance agent with four years of experience in the financial services industry and the founder of Grace and Hope Financial Service, LLC. She specializes in helping individuals and families establish financial protection through health and life insurance while supporting their long-term retirement planning needs. Originally from Jamaica, Tamarie completed high school there before moving to the United States, where she earned her GED in 2014. In addition to her insurance licenses, including the 215 license for health and life insurance, she holds certifications in home health care and childcare.
Tamarie attributes her professional growth and success to her faith in God, the experiences that have shaped her since childhood, and her determination to build systems that allow her to apply her knowledge effectively. She approaches her work with perseverance, organization, and a commitment to serving others. Her advice to those entering the financial services industry is straightforward: never give up, manage your time wisely, and develop systems that work for you. Outside of her professional work, Tamarie is deeply passionate about her faith and community. She is actively involved with the ministry and event team at Faith Center Church, where she helps organize church events and contributes to the life of the congregation. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, especially near the ocean, and takes pride in her Jamaican culture and heritage. A self-described foodie, she especially enjoys Jamaican cuisine, with jerk chicken among her favorites. Through her faith, service, cultural roots, and professional ambitions, Tamarie continues to pursue a life centered on purpose, growth, and helping others.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to God, and really me just experience, life experience, God has been leading me since I was a kid. So give him all the glory for that, and my ambition and me putting things in place with the knowledge I have.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
It's a simple one, just never quit, never give up, because in the insurance space there's so much sharks, there's so much people that are doing this, and every about 80% of insurance agent quit their first year, and I was determined that I'm not gonna quit.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it, and put in the work, and organize your time, and put a system in place. You'll get it done.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
My biggest challenge is really like networking more, and having a system that works. You know, I've used a few systems, and I'm looking to like get more system put in place.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My values surrounded my spirituality and relationship with God, I do follow what God's directions. I'm a woman of God, so the spiritual value is very important, and walking in that light in this world, and being obedient to Christ. That's one of my key values right now.
