About Tamatha

Tamatha Taber is a professional in the aerospace sector with experience dating back to 1998. A graduate of Drury University, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. She began her career in the pet food industry in Springfield, Missouri, before transitioning to an aerospace company where she learned scheduling and planning. After a brief period in accounting at another aerospace firm, she returned to the company that became Eminence Manufacturing in Eminence, Missouri. In her current role as CSR, planner, and buyer, Tamatha reviews contracts, purchases materials, and manages outside services such as heat treating and painting for helicopter parts, primarily the CH-47 for Boeing and other clients like Cresge Aerospace. She was recognized in the Cambridge Who's Who of American Women in 2004. Outside of work, she has served as secretary of her high school booster club and supports the Four Rivers nonprofit where her daughter works. Her career advice is to follow your gut, as it will never lead you wrong.

01What do you attribute your success to?

My parents teaching me the value of hard work and what it accomplishes.


My late mother, Connie Keeney, who worked her way from a plant worker to a plant manager during her career in sporting goods.


Virginia Altis, who early in my career pushed me outside my comfort zone to prove to me I could do more.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

My boss in Springfield always told me to follow your gut, because your gut will never lead you wrong. Sometimes if you overthink things you might make the wrong decision, but follow your gut.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Learn everything you can about the industry and the job you do.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Finding young people who are willing to work in the industry and learn it.


05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Hard work is what is most important in my work life and being willing to adapt even when you don't want to.


Values in my person life are love, happiness and faith. I have a wonderful husband with two grown daughters, a wonderful son-in-law and future son-in-law. then of course, my absolutely perfect granddaughter.
