Ten minutes with Tameka
01What do you attribute your success to?
I contribute my success to God. As I look over my life and just different things I've been through, I know I would never have not made it because due to him, like, I'm that's the reason that I am where I'm at. And also, just, like, I just have, like, a determination, like, a determination, resilience attitude, like, I always want to finish what I start.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The advice I would give is, maybe find a mentor, maybe someone more experienced, cause I feel like challenges will arise. So just find somebody that maybe can somehow that you can like grow or learn from. Never stop learning, and never stop learning, because just be teachable.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value honesty, good integrity, transparency, just being a good person, even when no one's looking, even when it's not being recorded. I like to make one of my quotes that I have on LinkedIn is, being a change I want to see. It's not work when you love what you do.
