About Tami

Tami Daniels is a healthcare sales and business development professional specializing in compounded pharmaceuticals and wellness solutions. Based in Valdosta, Georgia, she currently serves as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative and Wellness Advocate with Chancy Drugs, where she develops and strengthens relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, healthcare providers, and clinical teams. With approximately five years of experience in compounded pharmaceutical sales and marketing, Tami focuses on provider education, personalized medicine, wellness solutions, longevity, skincare, functional medicine, and hormone-related treatments. Her career is guided by a patient-first mindset and a commitment to helping healthcare professionals identify solutions that support both patient needs and practice growth.

Tami brings a diverse entrepreneurial and business background to her healthcare career. Before joining Chancy Drugs, she owned and operated a Durable Medical Equipment company, where she developed referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, home health agencies, and case managers while providing patient-centered medical equipment solutions. She also owned an upscale children's boutique and later served as a Sales Business Development Manager with Coca-Cola Consolidated, developing strategic partnerships, managing key accounts, identifying new market opportunities, and supporting revenue growth. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Valdosta State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Legal Studies from Kaplan University.

Beyond her professional work, Tami is deeply committed to faith, service, and building meaningful relationships. She has volunteered with Refuge of Hope, participating in a jail ministry where she provides encouragement, prayer, spiritual support, and hope to women in her local detention center. She attributes her success first and foremost to God and approaches her work with integrity, compassion, authenticity, and purpose. Tami believes the strongest business relationships are built by genuinely knowing and understanding others, and she encourages the next generation of women to invest in themselves, protect their peace, strengthen their mindset, and pursue environments that help them grow.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Tami

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to God. I am a woman of faith, and I seek His guidance every day in both my personal life and my professional journey. My faith gives me direction, purpose, strength, and the foundation I need to approach every opportunity with integrity and intention.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is to know my audience, especially in sales. I believe it is important to understand the people I am working with, learn what matters to them, understand their interests and priorities, and build genuine relationships. Sales is ultimately about people, and taking the time to truly know those people creates trust and stronger, more meaningful professional relationships.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women is to work on the inside so that the outside can change. Fix your mindset, pour into yourself, and choose yourself without abandoning your peace. Be intentional about the people, environments, and opportunities you allow into your life. Move away from what drains you and move toward what helps you grow. Invest in yourself, protect your peace, and never be afraid to pursue the version of yourself you are becoming.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in compounded pharmaceutical sales is increasing price competition and the pressure it can create to compromise on quality. When companies compete primarily on price, there can be a risk of cutting corners on medications or ingredients, which can ultimately affect patients.

I believe there is a significant opportunity for companies and healthcare professionals to differentiate themselves through quality, integrity, education, personalized solutions, and patient-first service. Maintaining high standards while educating providers and patients about the value of individualized healthcare solutions is essential to building trust and protecting patient outcomes.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, genuine connection, trust, respect, loyalty, love, and meaningful relationships are extremely important to me. I believe in being the same person in front of someone as I am when they are not around. I value relationships and friendships that build people up, and I believe in pouring into others and helping them become stronger. Whether professionally or personally, I want my relationships to be grounded in authenticity, mutual respect, trust, and genuine care for others.
